Chocolate Quinoa Cake

Healthy dessert alert! Presenting Mama Michelle’s Dark Chocolate Quinoa Cake


2 cups cooked quinoa 
4 eggs 
1/2 TSP salt
1.5 TSP baking powder 
1 TSP baking soda
2/3 cup melted butter 
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts 
1 cup cocoa powder 
1 TBSP vanilla essence 
1/3 cup milk 
1 1/4 sugar 


In a bowl, add your quinoa, melted butter, eggs & milk & mix with a mixie 
Add cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda & vanilla essence & mix 
Add chocolate & walnuts & gently mix in with a spatula 
Spread a little butter & cocoa powder around your cake pan to prevent stickiness & then add your batter 
Bake at 170 C for 60 min
